Taipei Dance Exchange – 24th – 29th Nov 2019

Some of our higher grades girls went to Taipei for a dance exchange from 24th – 29th November 2019. There, we participated in an intensive week of ballet focusing solely on the Vaganova ballet technique. We also spent an evening at a street dance school for open classes. The girls had a blast and fulfilling trip; attending ballet, conditioning, pointe, variations, contemporary, jazz funk and hip hop classes. Not forgetting, shopping and eating around the city.

At Elevate, we aim to organise at least one overseas immersion trip every year as part of our extension programme. More photos and video.

Seoul Dance Exchange – June 2018

It was another success in organising an oversea exchange programme to Seoul from 11th – 16th June 2018. The dance exchange focused in Modern, Jazz and Contemporary dance.

Our students had a fun and enriching week of dance workshops. They attended classes with Tune Dance Company and 1million dance studio. The students also had the chance to watch the Korean Non-Verbal Musical – Jump. Not to forget the sight-seeing around the city and tasting good Korean food.

Thank you to our ever-supportive parents & passionate students. .!

Brisbane Dance Immersion – Dec 2017

Elevate believes in a truly holistic dance education through international dance examinations, stage exposure, local excursions, and overseas immersion programme, all the while developing a great sense of discipline, artistic appreciation and resilience.

It was a success in organising an oversea immersion programme to Brisbane in December 2017. Our students and friends had an enriching and interesting week of inspirational dance workshops. We attended classes/workshops with Mad Dance House and Claudia Dean Coaching. The students also had the chance to watch the Queensland Ballet’s The Nutcracker. It was a definite eye-opener for some of the students.

This programme could not have been done without our ever-supportive parents & passionate students. Thank you all.!
