Choosing the Perfect Dance Style For Your Kids 

There is no perfect dancing style for young beginners; rather, the instructor makes all the difference. Taking a class in modern dance that encourages experimentation is a great way to improve your sense of body awareness. Many dance schools take this method, teaching their younger pupils to creative movement classes before exposing students to more popular dance forms like jazz, ballet, or modern theatre. Ballet

Modern Theatre

Modern Theatre Dance is a dance style from the twentieth century that combines traditional Western theatre elements with modern and contemporary styles. The focus of this type of dance is on self-expression as well as technique. Dancers use their own stories or interpretations to make unique choreography. Tap

Tap dancing is a style of dance which combines traditional footwork with the rhythm of the music. It is an art form that has been around for hundreds of years, originating from African and Irish cultures. In its modern form, tap dancing helps people find self-expression through creative improvisation, where they can modify routines to suit their own individual style while engaging with different types of music. Tap provides physical benefits such as improved coordination, balance and agility while strengthening the legs, feet and core muscles.

Seniors of Elevate

Presenting to you our senior girls of Elevate (not full attendance) 🥰.

SIDC over the weekend. Finally back on-stage after 3 years. Glad to be back in the theatre with big stage, lights and audience. This year, more senior girls i.e. 18-30 years old, decided to participate in the competition despite their busy full time work & school. It’s not an easy feat but we did it. Winning is never my core for comps but the passion & love for stage is. My heart is definitely full seeing my dancers rocking the stage. Thank you all students, parents, husbands, bfs for believing in Elevate & the support past 10 years & more. We’ll take dance beyond the stage!!
