Our advanced students had the valuable opportunity to participate in an Advanced Ballet Workshop conducted by Dr. Jinseo Park, the Artistic Director of the K-Park, JS Ballet Company South Korea. The workshop provided an intensive and inspiring learning experience, focusing on refining classical ballet technique, artistry, musicality, and performance quality at a high level. Under Dr. Park’s expert guidance, students received incredible input and professional coaching that challenged them to push beyond their limits and further develop their technical precision and artistic expression. The workshop emphasized discipline, body awareness, movement quality, and the finer details of classical ballet training, giving students deeper insight into professional standards and international approaches to ballet education. The experience was both enriching and motivating, leaving students inspired by the knowledge, corrections, and encouragement shared throughout the session.

The Classical Ballet Master Class is an annual ballet workshop dedicated to our advanced dancers who are passionate about mastering the artistry and discipline of classical ballet. Usually held once each year, this prestigious intensive brings together talented students, pre-professional performers, and industry professionals for an inspiring day of high-level training and artistic development. Posture and Muscle Workshop – 14th Dec 2024. The workshop centered around the Shisei Method, a Japanese technique that is based on the concept of aligning the body in a way that enhances natural movement, reduces strain, and promotes long-term health and sustainability for dancers. It emphasised the importance of achieving perfect posture—how even slight changes in alignment can improve balance and control.

The workshop on 29 October 2024 was a truly inspiring and enriching experience for both our dedicated teachers and advanced Modern students. We are deeply grateful to the esteemed Ms. Wendy O’Dowd, ISTD Examiner, whose expert guidance and insightful instruction made the day exceptional. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and a renewed sense of passion for the art of dance.
