A group of our dedicated young dancers, aged 8 to 10, had the opportunity to take part in a meaningful and inspiring journey through our Taipei Dance Exchange Program from 7th to 12th September 2025. Blending rigorous dance training with rich cultural exploration, the trip provided an immersive experience that broadened their horizons both artistically and personally.
Six students & teachers, together with our Principal flew from Singapore to South Korea to attend the World Dance Festival 2024. At the festival spanning across 3 days, they participated in teachers’ seminar covering both ballet and K-pop, competed in the competition, and engaged in various workshops: ballet, modern, Korean dance & Kpop. The experience was a fantastic opportunity to expand the skills and knowledge across different dance styles and disciplines. Competition – Congratulations to everyone involved! Competing against 16 countries with nearly 200 different dances across classical ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, folk, and jazz is a phenomenal achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and diverse talents have truly paid off. Celebrate this well-deserved success!
In June 2024, our dance teachers embarked on an enriching journey to Milan, Italy, where they delved deep into the renowned Graham technique, a pivotal style in Modern dance. Led by esteemed instructors and practitioners, the immersion into Graham technique provided a profound understanding of its expressive movements and nuanced techniques, enhancing both teaching methodologies and personal dance proficiency.
The trip included immersive professional ballet classes alongside fellow dancers and instructors, fostering a collaborative environment that enriched technical skills and artistic sensibilities. Our teachers honed their abilities through rigorous training sessions, absorbing insights from seasoned professionals while refining their own teaching techniques.
