Progressing Ballet Technique Workshop – 15th Dec 2018

Our last Extension Programme Series – Workshops for the year 2018. Progressing Ballet Technique Advanced workshop was held on December 15th.

Our senior girls were treated to an innovative programme developed by Marie Walton-Mahon, a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Examiner for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet. The course helps students to increase muscle memory, improve flexibility, strengthen technique and encourage longevity in dance.

We’re fortunate to have Priscilla Law, the Director of PBT Asia to personally deliver the programme to our students in our own studio. We hope our girls enjoyed themselves and the workshop has helped to improve their technique.

Pilates Workshop – 08th & 09th Dec 2018

At Elevate, we strongly believe in extension workshop programmes to help facilitate and encourage a holistic approach in learning. This December 08th & 09th, our senior girls were treated to an external pilates workshop: pilates mat and reformer. Pilates is exceptionally useful for dancers as it helps to improve flexibility, increase strength and tone the deep muscles of the abdominal, back, hips and buttocks which is all crucial to the art of ballet.

We hope our girls enjoyed themselves and managed to learn a thing or two in the crash course. For more pictures, click here.
