This prestigious regional competition brought together top young performers from across Asia — and our dancers made us proud with their passion, precision, and stage presence. Posture and Muscle Workshop – 14th Dec 2024. The workshop centered around the Shisei Method, a Japanese technique that is based on the concept of aligning the body in a way that enhances natural movement, reduces strain, and promotes long-term health and sustainability for dancers. It emphasised the importance of achieving perfect posture—how even slight changes in alignment can improve balance and control.
On the evening of 8 December 2024, Elevate Dance Academie brought the stage to life with Palette in Motion — a dance concert that truly lived up to its name. Held at the UCC Theatre, the performance was a breathtaking fusion of colour, movement, and storytelling. Dancers of all ages performed with passion and precision, showcasing classical ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, and fusion pieces that explored the emotional depth and energy of colour in motion. Every detail — from lighting to costume design — was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the theme. Whether in soft, flowing pieces or bold, high-energy numbers, the performers captivated the audience and left a lasting impression. Palette in Motion was more than a showcase of skill; it was a celebration of creativity, discipline, and the joy of dance. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening – all our beautiful & passionate dancers, the ever-supportive & encouraging parents, friends & family, crews, teachers, helpers, volunteers and everyone involved.

The workshop on 29 October 2024 was a truly inspiring and enriching experience for both our dedicated teachers and advanced Modern students. We are deeply grateful to the esteemed Ms. Wendy O’Dowd, ISTD Examiner, whose expert guidance and insightful instruction made the day exceptional. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and a renewed sense of passion for the art of dance.
Six students & teachers, together with our Principal flew from Singapore to South Korea to attend the World Dance Festival 2024. At the festival spanning across 3 days, they participated in teachers’ seminar covering both ballet and K-pop, competed in the competition, and engaged in various workshops: ballet, modern, Korean dance & Kpop. The experience was a fantastic opportunity to expand the skills and knowledge across different dance styles and disciplines. Competition – Congratulations to everyone involved! Competing against 16 countries with nearly 200 different dances across classical ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, folk, and jazz is a phenomenal achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and diverse talents have truly paid off. Celebrate this well-deserved success!
