Celebrating Success at the World Dance Festival 2024!

We are thrilled to share the exciting news about our recent adventure to the World Dance Festival 2024 in South Korea! A dedicated group of six students and teachers, along with our Principal, traveled from Singapore to immerse themselves in this prestigious event.

Over the span of three days in Suwon, our participants fully embraced the festival’s offerings. They engaged in a teachers’ seminar focusing on ballet and K-pop, competed in a diverse range of categories, and participated in workshops covering ballet, modern dance, Korean dance, and K-pop. This was a fantastic opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge across various dance disciplines.

Competition Highlights: Our team competed against 16 countries, showcasing nearly 200 different dances across a broad spectrum of categories including classical ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, folk, and jazz. The level of competition was incredibly high, with participants from around the world presenting their finest work.

The experience was both challenging and exhilarating. Each performance highlighted the dedication, discipline, and talent of our dancers, who adapted and excelled in this diverse and competitive environment. Their preparation and commitment were evident in their performances, which were met with enthusiasm and praise from judges and audiences alike.

Achieving success in such a demanding and high-profile festival is a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our students and teachers. Their ability to perform under pressure and represent our school with such excellence speaks volumes about their talent and determination. We are immensely proud of their achievements and the way they upheld our school’s reputation on the international stage.
