Dear Parents, Students and Guardians,
Greetings from Elevate Dance Academie. Here are some essential points to note, on top of our terms and conditions. Please read carefully as all information on this page will help you prepare your child for our classes and training programme.
- Classes Attire
Foundation 1/2/3 & Primary:
Girls: dance leotard, dance tights, wrap skirt & ballet shoes
Boys: Elevate tee, own black leggings & ballet shoes
Ballet Grade 1 & above:
Girls: coloured leotard, dance tights, ballet shoes, character skirt, character shoes and, others as requested by teachers/syllabus
Boys: Elevate tee, own black leggings, ballet shoes and, others as requested by teachers/syllabus
Modern Grade 1 & above:
Girls: coloured leotard & jazz shorts. Specialist socks for Grade 3 and above
Boys: Elevate tee, own black leggings. Specialist socks for Grade 3 and above
- School Terms and Calendar
The year runs with 4 terms. Each term is a quarter ie Term 1 Jan-Mar, Term 2 Apr-Jun, Term 3 Jul-Sep, Term 4 Oct-Dec. There’ll be 11 weeks of lessons in every term; 11 lessons per term for lower levels, 22 lessons per term for mid and higher levels. Please remember to check our calendar. We’re closed on all term breaks and public holidays; red & blue on the calendar are term break.
Fees are collected on a termly/quarterly basis, payment should be done before the start of the next term. Please do note that fees paid are none refundable. We do not have any replacement or proration for any classes missed for any reasons. There will be no refunds or prorations.
- Communication
We aim to disseminate information more efficiently. Please SAVE our number +65 81113601 into your contact list, to receive our WhatsApp broadcast/announcement messages. Please note that the messages can only go through IF our number is saved into your phone contacts list.

- Safety
Safety is our top priority and if there is any information that the teachers and school need to be aware of with regards to your child, please do let us know. All students and teachers must be well and fit before turning up for all our classes, events or programme.
- Classes Frequency and Graduation
Foundation 1/2/3 (age 3-6):
Graduation & Open House in Dec/Jan or Mar/Apr of each year
Term 1-4: once a week, 45mins
Classical Ballet (age 6&above):
Examination board: RAD, Apr/May of each year
Primary, Grade 1, Grade 2: Term 1&4 – twice a week, Term 2&3 – once a week
Grade 3 & above: twice a week
Modern Theatre and Jazz, Tap (age 6&above):
Examination board: ISTD, Oct/Nov of each year
Primary, Grade 1, Grade 2: Term 1&4: once a week, Term 2&3: twice a week
Grade 3 & above: twice a week
- Marketing
Please note that photos and videos will be taken throughout classes, events or any other programmes. These will be used by us for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Deposit and Withdrawal
There’ll be a one time deposit collected. Withdrawal should be served 1 month before the end of current term, failing which the deposit will be forfeited; early withdrawals will not be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable and will be issued as a credit note to offset the final invoice. Student(s) must provide a minimum of one month’s advance withdrawal notice before the current term ends.
