MILAN DANCE TEACHERS’ IMMERSION – JUNE 2024

In June 2024, our dance teachers embarked on an enriching journey to Milan, Italy, where they delved deep into the renowned Graham technique, a pivotal style in Modern dance. Led by esteemed instructors and practitioners, the immersion into Graham technique provided a profound understanding of its expressive movements and nuanced techniques, enhancing both teaching methodologies and personal dance proficiency.

The trip included immersive professional ballet classes alongside fellow dancers and instructors, fostering a collaborative environment that enriched technical skills and artistic sensibilities. Our teachers honed their abilities through rigorous training sessions, absorbing insights from seasoned professionals while refining their own teaching techniques.

Amidst the dance-focused activities, the group also explored Milan’s cultural riches. Of course, no visit to Milan would be complete without savouring its culinary delights. From authentic Italian trattorias to chic cafes, the group savoured exquisite dishes that delighted the palate and provided moments of relaxation and camaraderie outside the dance studio.
