Biography

Shaleena loves dancing and is passionate about injecting a positive dance experience regardless of ages and levels. She aims to make dance fun and is dedicated to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for everyone.

Shaleena a graduate of Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications), currently works full-time as a preschool teacher at one of the leading international school while pursuing her ISTD Modern Theatre Advanced level training under Ms Lang Ley. With a background in ballet, modern theatre, jazz, tap, belly dance, Indian bollywood and Malay traditional dances, she is sure to make her classes interesting and exhilarating. She has choreographed and put up shows for many school’s concerts, charitable shows, musical theatres, pageants, movies, local tv programmes and music videos. She was the director and principal of Q-dees Pulau Tikus Kindergarten in Penang, while raising her two sons before moving to Singapore.

She believes in the power of diversity and bringing out unique styles and movements in all her students.
