Biography

Madeline started Classical Ballet at the age of 3 years old and has since immersed herself in other genres of dance such as Modern Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern Theatre and Latin. She believes that dance is more than just an art form, it is an expression of passion and creativity.

After graduating with a Diploma with Merit in Early Childhood Development & Education, Madeline is now pursuing a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, highlighting her commitment to understanding the holistic development of children. This blend of academic knowledge and practical dance experience undoubtedly influences her teaching philosophy. Alongside her academic pursuits, she also continues her training in RAD Classical Ballet and ISTD Modern Theatre under Ms Lang Ley. She is also a Distinction holder for both Advanced Ballet and Advanced Modern Theatre. Her experiences in performances and competitions both locally and internationally, have shaped her as a dancer. Notable achievements include performing for Mediacorp and Rotary International, as well as attaining Bronze, Silver and Gold awards at Hong Kong Challenge Cup, International Arts Festival and Asia Dance Arts Festival.

Driven by her passion for teaching, Madeline aims to embrace each dancer for their unique talents and nurture them to become confident and resilient individuals with a strong sense of self-expression and discipline
