Biography

Kah Yu began her classical ballet training at the age of four and has been training under Ms. Langley. She has since expanded her repertoire to include Modern Theatre, Contemporary, and Latin.

She holds a Diploma in Applied Chemistry and a Bachelor of Food Technology (Honours) from the Singapore Institute of Technology, while continuing her training in RAD Ballet and Latin. Her dedication to dance has earned her accolades including Silver and Bronze Awards at the Hong Kong Challenge Cup 2023, a Bronze Award at the International Arts Festival 2024, 5th Place at the Canadian World Dance Festival 2024, and a Semi-Finalist placing in the Adult Solo Beginner (Jive) category at the TDA Championships.

Kah Yu believes that dance is a powerful avenue for building confidence, discipline, and self-expression. As an educator, she is committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels inspired to grow. She strives to help each dancer develop strong technical foundations, artistic expression, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for dance.
