Biography
Min Yi is a dedicated dance educator and versatile performer in Classical Ballet, Jazz, K-Pop, and Street. She began her formal ballet training at the age of 4 with Ms Lang Ley and has spent nearly two decades developing her technique, discipline, and artistic maturity across multiple genres.
Growing up, Min Yi experienced her share of challenges within ballet training—an experience that shaped her into a resilient and thoughtful dancer. Her journey of overcoming difficulties instilled in her a deep understanding of the learning process, the importance of patient guidance, and the value of perseverance in dance. These qualities later empowered her to explore choreography and performance more boldly, eventually competing in Solo categories and earning achievements, which include Gold and Bronze Medals at ADAF2023, HKDCC2023, and 3rd place at WDF2024.
Min Yi’s teaching philosophy is rooted in her belief that every student deserves the opportunity to learn and progress at their own pace. Having personally experienced different phases of growth, she brings empathy, clarity, and tailored guidance to her classes. As an educator, Min Yi aims to create a nurturing yet structured environment that encourages exploration, resilience, and expressive movement. She is committed to helping each student discover their potential while fostering a positive and inspiring experience in every lesson.
